It’s our secret shortcut to softer idlies without the traditional soaking and grinding process. However, like all good things, moderation is key. - Grease your idly molds with a little oil and pour the batter in. Make sure the idly vessel has some water at the bottom for generating the steam.
- Steam your idlies for 10-12 minutes, and stick a toothpick or fork into the idly at the end of the steaming process: if it comes out clean, you’re good to go.
